The Nations Championship comes down to a single weekend. After six rounds of competition across July and November, each hemisphere's six teams are ranked in their hemisphere grouping 1-6. Finals Weekend pairs them off as the 6th placed northern team plays the 6th placed southern team, 5th plays 5th and so on until the Grand Final to decide the best team on the planet.

Finals Weekend isn't just about the Grand Final. Every match also feeds into the Hemisphere Challenge. Seven points are available across the weekend. The first hemisphere to four points is crowned the winning hemisphere

NORTH VS SOUTH
EVERY MATCH MATTERS

The Hemisphere Challenge is decided across Finals Weekend. Seven points are up for grabs: one point for each match from 6th‑vs‑6th to 2nd‑vs‑2nd, and two for the Grand Final. The first hemisphere to four points takes the title.

Format HOW IT WORKS

01Ranking

Six rounds across July and November rank each hemisphere's teams 1-6. Your final position determines your Finals Weekend opponent.

02Matchups

6th plays 6th, 5th plays 5th, all the way to the Grand Final - 1st vs 1st. Six matches across three double-header sessons.

03Tie Breakers

Tied matches go to 10 minutes of Golden Point extra time. If still level, the match is drawn and the Hemisphere point on offer will be split.

The Grand Final gets two 10-minute golden point halves. If still no champion, it’s place kicks to decide.
